Livelihood Income Food security and Environment (hereafter refers as MKULiMa LIFE) is a Non-Governmental Organization registered by the Tanzanian Ministry of Home Affairs in Tanzania Mainland (00NGO/R/2854), with headquarters in Morogoro. The Swahili acronym MKULiMa stands for Maisha Kipato Uhakika wa Lishe na Mazingira.
We seek to disseminate research findings, state of the art technologies and innovations to improve livelihood, income, food security and environment. We embrace technology, innovation, creativity and professionalism. We value integrity, diligence, honesty and power of networking. We are highly qualified, motivated, and experienced scientists dealing with agriculture, food and environment.
We understand the challenges facing the Tanzanian from classical problems to climate change induced stresses and access to markets. We are ready to work with various stakeholders in propelling farmers into the fourth industrial revolution that will be dominated by among others Internet of Things and digital technology.
